That was my vision on October 11 as I parked off of Snowbowl Road at about 9000’ in elevation. I mounted my OM-1 Olympus camera on a Fotopro tripod, using a 12-40mm lens, ISO 200 1/125s f/20.

About Jim Wilce

Jim Wilce

I am a nature and wildlife photographer specializing in landscapes such as panoramas, trees in context, and animals in action or interaction! You could call me a "-scape" photographer, doing land-, cloud-, tree, and even snag-scapes, and I love capturing birds on gorgeous trees in gorgeous cloud- and land-scapes. My aim is to capture for viewers my encounters with the natural world that are so important and fulfilling. I shoot with Olympus gear, including an OM-1 and OM-D E-M1 II, and Olympus/OM lenses— a 40-150mm, a 300mm prime, a 30mm...
