Artist's Description

Flagstaff has historically seen snow all 12 months of the year, and snow in late March is a common occurrence. Here we see snow on the apron of the San Francisco Peaks, as shot on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II camera, 40-150mm lens (ISO 640 1/500s f/9). I think I captured what I was trying to: a foreground, midground, and background, each with a different but complementary feel, to lead you into the image as you might enter a story-world.

You could call me a "-scape" photographer, doing land-, cloud-, tree, and even snag-scapes, and I love capturing birds on gorgeous trees in gorgeous cloud- and land-scapes.
