Artist's Description

Bald eagles have made a comeback in northern Arizona. Several breeding pairs are seen around Flagstaff, e.g., at the ponds on Old Walnut Canyon Road. They always take my breath away! I took this photograph not long after sunrise on January 2022 using my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, ISO 400 at 1/1000s f/2.8.
