Description

Thank you, Blue Dasher! I photographed the winged flight (a return-landing on a reed) of this relatively small dragonfly using that gem of Olympus camera features called ProCapture. More important is the location and the decades of work by the City of Sedona and Northern Arizona Audubon Society to create and sustain this wetlands habitat for insects, birds, fish, etc.

I can't imagine how difficult it was to take this picture. Your patience in your work is amazing. What you're able to capture in this picture is so breathtaking. So very impressed! The way you were even able to capture aspects of the wings when they flap 30 times per second. Truly amazing work!
