This species -- the White-Winged Dove -- was new to me, and thanks to my uncle for identifying it. Note the distinctive blue orbital ring around the orange eye and the white edges of the folded wing. I took the photo with my 300mm prime lens and OM-1 camera (ISO 4000 1/2000s f/5.6) on March 5, 2023, in north Austin, Texas.
I am a nature and wildlife photographer specializing in landscapes such as panoramas, trees in context, and animals in action or interaction! You could call me a "-scape" photographer, doing land-, cloud-, tree, and even snag-scapes, and I love capturing birds on gorgeous trees in gorgeous cloud- and land-scapes.
