On 11/23/23 I happened to be on the roof of a three-story building, rather high for Flagstaff Arizona. It afforded me a view of the San Francisco Peaks unlike others I have photographed from. I used a 12-40mm lens on an OM-1 camera set at ISO 200 1/160s f/5, focal distance 27mm.
I am a nature and wildlife photographer specializing in landscapes such as panoramas, trees in context, and animals in action or interaction! You could call me a "-scape" photographer, doing land-, cloud-, tree, and even snag-scapes, and I love capturing birds on gorgeous trees in gorgeous cloud- and land-scapes. Whether at home in Flagstaff or traveling to other parts of Arizona, southern California, or occasionally further afield (Texas, Missouri, and South Dakota most recently, I am never without my camera. My aim is to capture for viewers my encounters with the natural world that are so important and fulfilling.
