This fall 2022 I have been drawn again and again to drive as far up the San Francisco Peaks as the road goes, drawn by fall colors, clouds, and sunsets I have shared several photos from those trips. On the evening of 10/28 I set my OM-1 on a tripod with 40-150mm (at 100mm) ISO 500 1/40s f/13.
I am a nature and wildlife photographer specializing in landscapes such as panoramas, trees in context, and animals in action or interaction! You could call me a "-scape" photographer, doing land-, cloud-, tree, and even snag-scapes, and I love capturing birds on gorgeous trees in gorgeous cloud- and land-scapes. Whether at home in Flagstaff or traveling to other parts of Arizona, southern California, or occasionally further afield (Texas, Missouri, and South Dakota most recently, I am never without my camera. My aim is to capture for viewers my encounters with the natural world that are so important and fulfilling.
