Artist's Description

After an unsuccessful attempt to stab a fish, this Great Blue Heron is flying off to join its mate on the other side of Frances Short Pond, in Flagstaff, Arizona. I took the photo (#P4205265) on April 20, 2022 on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark ii, ISO 6400, f/5.6 3200/s.
