Today’s weather reflects what is being called a weak cold front moving through northern Arizona. It brought this dramatic cloud formation—layered clouds, perhaps altocumulus. Did I mention that it was to be a “dry” cold front? These clouds, though not producing rain, are no less gorgeous or dramatic. The image is actually ten frames merged as a single panorama in Lightroom. The frames were shot with a 12-40mm lens on a mirrorless OM System camera, ISO 200 f/5.6, shutter speed divided among the exposures between 1/800s and 1/1000s, focal distance 17.
